Senior Media & PR Strategist
A sleuth for details, Teena prides herself on uncovering stories that clients overlook. Her consummate storytelling makes her a star in B2B tech—in cybersecurity, enterprise software, cloud storage, fintech, mobile, and consumer—any place where engineering, electronics and software collide. Her passion: nailing earned media coverage that enables technology companies to tell their story and share how their smarts make development, production, and life far better.
In her 24 years of strategic communications, Teena has done everything from journalism with Computer Technology Review and production assistant for The Disney Channel to championing clients of big PR firms like Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, Weber Shandwick, and Blanc & Otus as well as corporate communications stints at public software companies. From there, Teena headed out on her own and quickly bootstrapped her San Francisco startup from zero to significant profitability in six months. So great was her success that her company caught Double Forte’s eye and she moved back into the trenches, preferring the reward of media results for clients over the administrative details of directing her own firm. Nothing pleases her more than helping technology brands elevate their media share of voice.
Who helps her achieve all this? Why her beagle, of course! Teena’s trusty sidekick Charlie stands nearby, no matter how tough the assignment. He’s the steadying paw and the ultimate wagger, who applauds every interview secured. And, when Teena’s not working, he lies on the edge of the sofa, watching—not the Dodgers, not the Yankees—but the Mets as they circle the bases and slide into home.
